Bruce DingwallSenior MinisterBruce has been involved with full time Christian ministry for over 30 years, but is new to Menai. He and his wife Judy have two sons in their late teens. He began his walk with Jesus when he was 12 and can’t think of a better way to live. He loves teaching the Bible, water colour painting, bonsai and kayaking and he does martial arts to keep himself fit and keep up with his sons. Steve WakefordAssociate MinisterSteve is married to Nonie and they have 3 boys: Ben, Nochi and Daniel. Steve pastors the Saturday night congregation and youth and young adults community. He loves lots of things - hanging out with his family, his congregation and youth leaders who are just awesome people! Steve loves U2, good coffee and shooting feral pigs from the back of his ute. Zac MilesConnections PastorZac is married to Amy and grew up in various places along the east coast, notably Newcastle and Byron Bay (where he developed a passion for surfing). He was greatly blessed, while at Uni, by the combined ministry of Sydney University Evangelical Union and St. Barnabas' Broadway. After Uni, God brought him to Springwood, in the Blue Mountains, where he started a ministry apprenticeship with his father who was one of the pastors at Springwood and Winmalee Anglican Church. During this time, he was involved in lots of youth ministry, high school scripture and growth group leading, among other things. He met Amy while leading the junior high youth group and they were married at the end of his second year of Moore College. While at College, Zac was a student minister at Springwood, then St. Mark's in Freshwater and finally at Vine Church, Surry Hills. Both Zac and Amy are very excited to be at Menai Anglican Church. Andrew Hartman (Punchy)Youth PastorPunchy is married to Tara. They live in the Ridge, just behind the church. Punchy has been coming to Menai Anglican Church for as long as he can remember. He has been involved in youth ministry there for 12 years and is stoked with opportunity to continue working with the youth full-time. He enjoys surfing, skateboarding, and playing soccer. He also likes any type of Asian food and a freshly cut lawn. He and Tara were recently given a table tennis table, so they are excited about having people over for food and table tennis. Mary PickfordChildren's MinisterMary loves working with kids and bringing the word of God to life. She likes to laugh, doesn't enjoy spending too much time alone and could see herself as a monkey! Mary is married to Wayne, who works at an Anglican church in Berkley, as well as caring for his mum. They have three daughters, Janet, Esther and Molly, plus a maltese terrier named Ted. Denise GellettPA/SecretaryDenise is married to Jim with 3 sons – Paul, Matthew and Neil and daughter-in-laws, Christie, Simone and Yolande. Loves spending time with her three grandchildren, Lani, Joshua and Aida. Denise has served at Menai for 31years as Secretary/PA and Administrator; enjoying every minute as she loves assisting and helping where she is able. Outside the office but still part of the church, Denise has been involved in the Children’s Ministry on Sunday mornings for 30 years and a member of the Women's Fellowship team and Small Group Leader. She has a desire to see others know Christ personally. Denise loves spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, cross words and for creativeness embroidery, cross stitch and tapestry.
